Commissioned by VC, as MD Benelux for Consafe – software specialist in warehouse management, turned around negative business result to 20+% ebit, 35+% growth, healthy balance sheet and positive customer and employee satisfaction. Following this, as VP Operations, harmonized the cross-europeans delivery organization to achieve maximum synergy effects.
Situation: Swedish investor had taken over various soft- and hardware organizations in Sweden, Norway, Poland and the Benelux and put them under a new label.
Challenge: To get loss-making Benelux organization back to profitable growth. Scale working-as-one philosophy to pan-European organization.
Approach: As MD, returned the Benelux organization to profitable growth by refining the customer value focus, more effective customers engagement, and developing the organization towards higher levels of self-organization. Targeting a different set of accounts in combination with the cross-team alignment in marketing, sales, implementation and support restored confidence, created healthy funnels with profitable implementation and contract management. Engaging the organization in iterations on the path forward (monthly and quarterly sessions), fueled the working-as-one culture, contributing to reliable forecast and positive business outcomes. Subsequently, as VP Operations, I led further pan-European go-to-market harmonization.
